What you can do for your health with air fresheners?

Pollution is hazardous for your health and can weak your body. What you can do to have a healthy living? You can try to clean your home with air fresheners and maintain a healthy lifestyle. There are some simple things for you to do at home to keep irritants out of your airways.

1. Try to avoid wood-burning fireplaces. Wood-burning fireplaces could produce particulate matter that can get into your lungs and make it harder to breathe.

2. Quit the habit of smoking if you have. Steer clear of smokers can help to keep healthy living as smoking causes about 85% of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease cases. Stay away from secondhand smoke.

3. Keep the dust mites away or keep it in a minimum. You can use mattress covers and pillowcases that are bed-bug proof. And pick pillows that are made of foam rubber. Washing your linens in hot water at least once a week will also keep the dust mites at bay.

4. Remember to cut the chemicals. You need to clean up dust and pet dander, but strong-smelling cleaning products can be lung irritants. Even walking into a recently cleaned house can be a problem and wearing a mask won’t necessarily help.

5. You should control pet dander. Pet dander is less of a problem for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease than for asthma, because dander particles are usually too big to penetrate deep into the airways. Wash your hands after petting and keep your pet out of the bedroom.

6. You have to filter your air. Air filters can cut down dramatically on the fine particles that irritate the lungs. It’s always better to ventilate through a system that has a filter. Besides, changing filters often will also help keep the air clean.

7. Sometimes, you can close your window to isolate ozone and other forms of air pollution, as well as outdoor allergens and dust that can affect your lungs. On high air-pollution days keep the windows closed.

8. Fight mold and mildew. Good ventilation systems in both the bedroom and bathroom can cut down on molds, another potential trigger of lung trouble. You should keep the moisture levels in your home unattractively low,

9. Keep eyes on your stove. You can still stay warm and cozy all winter. However, even gas stoves can be a problem for those with lung trouble. If you have an automatic igniter, it cuts down on the amount of gas that can escape.

10. Homemade air freshener. You can do some natural air fresheners yourself at home to refresh air in house and keep air clean inside. Natural air fresheners such as flowers or fruits can do a great help in air cleaning.

Beside our houses, cars are also the place we often stay in. You can also take some actions to clean air in your car. Whether car air fresheners can help you get fresh air or not, you can have a try to see if you have time.
